Resident Evil: Village (also known as RE8) continues Ethan Winters' story as he finds himself trapped in a remote eastern European settlement filled with secrets, danger, and four powerful rulers. The game blends exploration, puzzles, and survival horror across several distinct areas — each with its own atmosphere and challenges.
The game was released on May 7th, 2021 by Capcom on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Stadia, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It has since been re-released on additional platforms following its initial launch.
